Lane closures on Woodmen Road and Union Boulevard Friday night through Monday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo— The public is invited to participate in a “Trash Mob” cleanup along a portion of Sand Creek alongside more than 100 Colorado Springs Girl Scouts as part of World Thinking Day Saturday, March 17.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Woodmen Road has been reduced to two through lanes in each direction between east of Academy Boulevard and Lexington Drive through the remainder of the project, estimated to end in May.  One through lane, both eastbound and westbound, will be closed 24/7 for the safe performance of concrete work. The closed lane may either be the inside or outside through lane, depending on the work needed.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Beginning  Saturday, through the end of May, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Pikes Peak Avenue from Hancock Avenue to Union Boulevard to facilitate the installation of a new waterline.

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs City Council has approved three important items to further revitalization of the North Nevada corridor and implement the approved North Nevada Avenue Master Plan. These items will allow city planners to begin work on transportation and infrastructure improvements and will guide the future of private development in the area.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mill Street community has been working on a planning process to envision the future of the neighborhood located immediately south of downtown Colorado Springs. The effort is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is estimated to be completed by Spring 2018. The City of Colorado Springs Community Development Division is engaging area residents, property and business owners to identify goals, priorities and interests in the future of this historic neighborhood.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Starting 8 p.m. Tuesday, through 5 a.m. Wednesday all eastbound lanes on Pikes Peak Avenue will be closed from Wahsatch Avenue to  Institute Street to relocate a waterline, one westbound lane will be open to traffic. Detours will be in place.
