Work remains under budget, ahead of schedule thanks to coordinated efforts with stakeholders

The parks department hired Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to conduct the study. The department seeks feedback from residents about proposed ways to alleviate congestion, enhance access and reduce emissions.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - Additional repairs to the Woodmen Road Bridges over Monument Creek and the railroad between Corporate Drive and Windchime Place will begin Monday, Feb. 26. All traffic on westbound Woodmen Road will be reduced to one lane, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., over Monument Creek for approximately two weeks.
